Inter’s Austrian winger Valentino Lazaro could be about to go and have his second loan spell at Newcastle United after the Premier League club expressed interest in him, according to a report in the English media.

As has first been reported by Newcastle-based newspaper Chronical Live, Inter willing to let Valentino Lazaro joining up with Steve Bruce’s side once again on loan with the option for the Magpies to buy the player outright at the end of the season.

Valentino Lazaro joined Newcastle United in January 2020 for half a season, where he made 13 appearances. He pitched in with two goals during that spell, one in the FA Cup and one in the Premier League against Bournemouth.

Inter want the player to get some game time but are not immediately interested in selling him on a permanent deal as Simone Inzaghi has not had a chance to evaluate the player.

He was part of Austria’s Euro 2020 squad but got injured in the group stage.
