Two more clubs have joined the running to sign young Inter defender Lorenzo Pirola on loan for the upcoming season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

It has been reported by Tuttosport that both Parma and Sassuolo have expressed their interest in signing the young centre-back on loan for the 2021/22 season.

Lorenzo Pirola spent the previous campaign on loan at AC Monza where he almost helped the team gain a dramatic promotion to Serie A. They were defeated in the Serie B Play-Off semi-finals, but the club run by Silvio Berlusconi would like to have him back again.

Parma and Sassuolo have also now thrown their hats into the ring though and they may be able to provide the 19-year-old some game time with better players around him than AC Monza can offer. Sassuolo of course would allow him to play in Serie A, but he may not start as many games there.
