Inter are stepping up their pursuit of Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, with Simone Inzaghi reportedly approving the pursuit of the player.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 26-year-old Spaniard is now the Nerazzurri’s top target to replace Achraf Hakimi.

With Hakimi’s departure imminent, finding a replacement for the Moroccan is thought to be a major item on the Nerazzurri’s agenda, with multiple names having been linked.

Bellerin has joined the list in the last days, with the 26-year-old thought to have the right profile to take over from the departing Hakimi.

The Arsenal player is now Inter’s priority on the right side of the pitch, and the club will do everything that they can to sign him, with Inzaghi happy with his profile.

It now remains to be seen whether Inter can reach and agreement with the Gunners over the player, with the London club reportedly preferring to sell the player outright over a loan, while Inter are still only set to offer to take the player on loan with an option to purchase on a permanent basis later, for budgetary reasons.
