Inter are exploring their options to sign Giacomo Raspadori, as they make the 21-year-old’s arrival in this summer or the next a priority.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that talks with Raspadori’s club Sassuolo are underway as of a meeting on Wednesday.

Raspadori has been linked to the Nerazzurri for some time, with the Sassuolo striker thought to be a top target to replace Lautaro Martinez should the Argentine depart.

Should Martinez be sold, then the funds would certainly exist to bring in Raspadori, with the Nerazzurri valuing the 23-year-old at at least €70-80 million.

However, even with the club currently not looking at selling Martinez, Raspadori is still being pursued, with the club looking to find a way to bring the player in that is within budget, with waiting until next summer to move a possibility.

The Neroverdi are also thought to like several Inter Primavera players, and there is a possibility that players could be offered as part of a deal for Raspadori, with the return of Belgian defender Zinho Vanheusden giving Inter another player who could be offered to Sassuolo, with the 21-year-old expected to depart on loan or permanently.
