Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin appears to be Inter’s first choice of replacement for the outgoing Achraf Hakimi this summer, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Inter has begun holding meetings with Simone Inzaghi in order to decide which players they want to pursue for both wing-back spots in the team.

Right-back is the priority position after it became clear that Achraf Hakimi will indeed be heading to Paris Saint Germain very soon.

Despite the fact that Simone Inzaghi would love to be reconnected with his former Lazio colleague Manuel Lazzari, he would simply cost too much for the Nerazzurri right now.

Denzel Dumfries would also be too expensive, as would Udinese’s Nahuel Molina. That means the most realistic option now is Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.

He is potentially affordable and the club are more impressed with his credentials than they are with Davide Zappacosta.
