Inter are ready to take active steps to sign two of their main summer transfer targets, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Il Giorno earlier today, the soon to be official sale of Achraf Hakimi has enabled Inter to start looking more seriously at entering negotiations for players they want to buy.

Two names have been circled in red as the players that will be approached first. One would serve as a direct replacement for Achraf Hakimi, which is Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.

The other would provide some added cover and quality at left-back as it is a position that Inter are struggling with. That player would be Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso.

Chelsea attempted to include Marcos Alonso in a deal for Achraf Hakimi earlier in the window which did interest Inter but Paris Saint Germain were willing to stump up the money that Inter wanted for the Moroccan.
