Inter are hoping to sign a new right-back as soon as possible so that Simone Inzaghi knows what he is working with during pre-season, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Tuttomercatoweb, there are plenty of names on Inter’s list of potential Achraf Hakimi replacements. The Moroccan is expected to have his move to Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain finalised at the beginning of next week.

The favourite for Inter is still Lazio’s Manuel Lazzari, but he will almost definitely be too expensive and Lazio president Claudio Lotito is not inclined to deal with Inter given the way they signed Simone Inzaghi.

Udinese’s Nahuel Molina is also looking too expensive, which leads Inter to choose between Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin or Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta. The former is believed to be the Nerazzurri’s preferred choice right now, but Davide Zappacosta will probably be the cheaper deal.
