Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has been having his performance for Belgium against Italy on Friday night analysed by the Italian media today.

As has been written by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Romelu Lukaku struggled to have too much of an impact in the Euro 2020 quarter-final against Italy in Munich.

He did still get onto the scoresheet though as he dispatched the penalty that was won when Jeremy Doku was pushed in the box by Napoli’s Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

Gazzetta believe that Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini did an excellent job of marking the elite striker out of the game that Italy ended up winning 2-1.

Romelu Lukaku has had two astonishingly good seasons for Inter since leaving Manchester United. In the 2020/21 Scudetto winning season with Antonio Conte in charge, the ex-Chelsea and Everton forward scored 30 goals across all competitions. He also created 10 goals for other teammates to score, proving the immense quality he possesses.
