Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi could be seeing his time at the club come to an end after yet more injury frustrations, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, Stefano Sensi could be playing his football at Fiorentina next season rather than with Inter.

Ever since the 25-year-old moved from Sassuolo to Inter, he has been plagued by repetitive injury’s that have stopped him from becoming a regular for the Nerazzurri. His latest injury came just before Euro 2020 and it meant he had to be replaced by Atalanta’s Matteo Pessina and miss the entire tournament.

He is already back on the field trying to get into peak physical condition ahead of the new season, which has alerted Fiorentina.

La Viola are reportedly ready to make a serious move for the midfielder but they are aware that Inter will not want to let him go for a cut-price fee.
