New Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is going to evaluate Belgian centre-back Zinho Vanheusden when the squad come together to prepare for the upcoming season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Belgian centre-back is one of many younger or fringe players that Inter need to make decisions about.

It would be highly beneficial to the club if any fringe or academy players could step up and show they have what it takes to play a serious role in the Inter first team. Inter are trying to avoid spending too much money on transfers, so academy players could get more of a chance than normal.

The 21-year-old has spent a period of time playing at Standard Liege and Inter may well find themselves receiving interesting bids for the player. Simone Inzaghi may also decide to keep him on.
