Inter are looking to secure the signing of Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori before other clubs start to show interest in the player and drive the price up, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Giacomo Raspadori is of serious interest to the Nerazzurri but they are wary of his €20 million price tag soaring if they do not act quickly.

The problem is that Inter cannot justify €20 million on a striker at this point in the transfer window because what little money they have to reinvest has to go towards a replacement for Achraf Hakimi.

The Nerazzurri have highlighted Giacomo Raspadori as a replacement for Lautaro Martinez if he was to leave in 2022. It is possible the club will look to sign the player on loan for a small fee with a compulsory fee to pay after the loan is up.
