Inter forward Alexis Sanchez only managed to play for 45 minutes when he returned from injury to face Brazil in the Copa America on Friday night, according to a report in the Chilean media.

As has been reported by La Tercera, the ex-Manchester United and Barcelona man clearly has not recovered from the physical problems that plagued his tournament.

He reportedly started the game well and was a threat to the Brazilian defence, but as the half wore on he started to move with difficulty and limp around. He had to ask to be substituted at halftime.

Chile went on to concede in the first minute of the second half after ex-AC Milan attacker Lucas Paqueta broke into the box and scored. Brazil did have Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus sent off immediately afterwards though for a high footed challenge.

Alexis Sanchez is one of the players that may leave Inter this summer.
