The next loan move undertaken by Inter youngster Lorenzo Pirola has yet to be fully agreed upon, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCIN1908, it appears that Monza are now the frontrunners to take the defender back on loan just like they did last season.

The club that was recently taken over by Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani almost gained promotion to Serie A last season but ended up losing in the Serie B promotion play-off semi-finals.

They have made the most progress in negotiations with the Nerazzurri board so far, but there are other clubs involved in the picture. Parma, Sassuolo, and newly-promoted Venezia have all been linked with a move for Lorenzo Pirola as well.

It is believed that Inter want to send the centre-back somewhere that he will get consistent playing time to build his experience which could rule Sassuolo out of the question.
