Inter are highly unlikely to sign Denzel Dumfries on a loan deal because PSV Eindhoven are only interested in a permanent sale, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, Inter’s chances of signing the player who impressed so much for The Netherlands at Euro 2020 are becoming very slim as the figures needed start to become clear.

PSV Eindhoven are likely to want somewhere between €20 million and €25 million for the right-back who scored twice for The Netherlands. That is much more than Inter are currently willing to spend on a replacement for the Paris Saint Germain-bound Achraf Hakimi.

Inter would be interested in taking Denzel Dumfries on loan for a season and included a option to buy the player in the deal, but the Dutch club are not interested in that.

That leaves Inter chasing Hector Bellerin of Arsenal or Davide Zappacosta.
