The new Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has seemingly been very busy whilst he is supposed to be on holiday as he has been in constant communication with Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Simone Inzaghi has been on the phone with Inter’s COO and Sporting Director multiple times a day as they try to ensure that he has the best possible squad available to him when pre-season comes around.

Simone Inzaghi is expected to be in Milan on Tuesday to formally begin preparations for the 2021/22 season and he is reportedly hoping to have at least two new signings very close to completion by then.

It is clear that Simone Inzaghi does not want Inter’s very complicated transfer business to disrupt his pre-season plans any more than is strictly necessary. The idea of a player like Lautaro Martinez leaving near the end of August is far from ideal.
