Inter could look into bringing Brazilian left-back Alex Telles in on loan from Manchester United, according to reports.

This from Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who link the 28-year-old with a return to the Giuseppe Meazza, where he spent the 2015-16 season.

An arrival in the left-sided position in the squad is thought to be a priority for the Nerazzurri in the summer transfer market, with Ashley Young having departed for Aston Villa and the likes of Ivan Perisic and Federico Dimarco possibly also on their way out this summer.

Multiple names have been linked for the role already, though in many cases it is believed to be financially difficult for the Nerazzurri to bring in their top targets.

The club could pursue a player with a view to a bargain who can still add quality to Simone Inzaghi’s squad, and Telles has come onto their radar.

The Brazilian joined Inter on loan from Galatasaray in 2015, but spent only one season in Milan, making a permanent switch to Porto and then, last summer, to Manchester United.

The 28-year-old has struggled for game-time at Old Trafford, where he is second-choice behind Luke Shaw, and the Nerazzurri could hope that his situation makes it possible to strike a deal which would see him arrive on loan.
