Inter have an agreement in principle with Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin to bring the 26-year-old to the Giuseppe Meazza, but have yet to convince the Gunners to make a deal.

This according to Barcelona-based news outlet Sport, who report that personal terms have been agreed between the club and player, who the Nerazzurri hope to bring in as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi.

With Hakimi set to depart, Bellerin has emerged as a top target for the Nerazzurri in the search to replace the Moroccan this summer, and an agreement of personal terms represents a significant step towards his arrival.

However, the question of whether his current club would be willing to make a deal on the Nerazzurri’s proposed terms remains a serious obstacle towards his signing.

The Gunners hope to sell the player on a permanent basis for €20-25 million, while the Nerazzurri are only thought to be offering to take the player on loan with the right to redeem the loan permanently, and it remains to be seen if an agreement can be found between the clubs.
