Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has been reflecting on Argentina’s Copa America Quarter final victory over Ecuador, according to a report in the Argentinian media.

Whilst speaking in an interview with Argentinian media outlet TyC Sports, the Nerazzurri man expressed how happy he was with the dominant performance that Argentina put in against Ecuador.

“I think that today we saw a dominant Argentina, the protagonist. We did everything we train for and that we want and what the coach asks of us.”

Lautaro Martinez’s side won 3-0 in which was a very comfortable win. Lionel Messi set up two goals and also scored a sublime free-kick. The Inter striker did not hold back in his praise of the incredible Lionel Messi.

“We all follow him. He always makes a difference and we will accompany him in everything as we have always done.”

That victory sets up a semi-final game against Colombia who will be much harder opposition than Ecuador.

Lautaro Martinez’s future at Inter is still somewhat undecided as his contract runs out in June 2022. The club are very keen to offer him a new deal once he returns from international duty and his holiday before the new season kicks off.
