Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has given his appraisal of Achraf Hakimi’s effect on Inter, with the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain imminent.

Tweeting from his official account, Biasin remarks on the positive gain, both financial and on the pitch, which the 22-year-old has brought to the Giuseppe Meazza in only one year after arriving from Real Madrid last summer.

Hakimi joined the Nerazzurri after impressing on loan with Borussia Dortmund for two seasons, with the club identifying him as the ideal candidate to play the right-sided position under Antonio Conte.

The decision proved to be a fruitful one, with the Moroccan having made himself a vital part of a team who managed to win the Scudetto for the first time in eleven years.

Hakimi will not, however, remain at the club for another season to defend the Scudetto under new head coach Simone Inzaghi, with the player set to leave for the French capital, though as Biasin points out he has made his presence felt and could go on to have yet more success with PSG.

Biasini’s tweet reads:

Just one year in Milan: too little for what it’s worth. But in just one year #Hakimi brought a championship and a capital gain of €30 million. Most likely this incredible player will improve the fortunes of #Psg, as he certainly did those of #Inter. So thank you.”
