Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu will not move to Real Sociedad, with the Spanish club reported to have moved on to another target.

This according to UK broadcaster Sky Sport UK, who report that La Real’s interest in the 24-year-old has ended as they are close to signing Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Mat Ryan.

It had been reported that the Spanish side were closely tracking Radu, with the Nerazzurri agreeing a deal in principle for him, and the player considering the offer.

However, the interest appears to be over, as La Real have identified the Brighton keeper as their preferred option, and are close to the Australian’s signature.

It remains to be seen what the situation of Radu will be with the Nerazzurri, with the Romanian thought to be a player that the club would allow to leave in the summer.

Radu was Samir Handanovic’s backup last season, but rarely played with the Slovenian a reliable Number one, and the player is thought to wish for a move away to find a starting role, while the Nerazzurri are thought to be looking for both a new backup keeper and a long-term replacement for Handanovic.
