Inter could look to sign Roma center-forward Edin Dzeko, with the Giallorossi considering selling the Bosnian this summer.

This according to Italian journalist Alessandro Vocalelli, who claims in his column in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are thought to have been interested in signing the 35-year-old in past transfer windows, with Serie A rivals Juventus also strongly linked, but he has up to this point remained in the Italian capital despite links away.

This summer, however, could be different, with the Giallorossi considering  selling the player in order to offload his high wages from their wage bill as they look to build a strong team under new manager Jose Mourinho without stretching their budget.

Inter could look to make a move for Dzeko this summer, decisively acting to finally bring him to the Giuseppe Meazza, as he would add quality and reliable Serie A experience to the attacking options available to Simone Inzaghi.

The 35-year-old would likely not cost a large amount in the way of a transfer fee, although accommodating his wages could be an issue, and it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri are serious about bringing the player in.
