The Curva Nord ultras group of Inter has set the tone for next season, urging all supporters to help the team build a strong season.

In a Facebook post, now deleted, reported by FCInter1908, the ultras group project optimism that next season will be a successful one, and show their confidence and devotion to the club.

The 2020-21 season was among the most successful seasons in recent memory for the Nerazzurri, with the club winning the Scudetto for the first time since the 2009-10 treble season.

Despite the obviously positive nature of the season, the summer has been a tumultuous one, with the club parting ways with manager Antonio Conte over a difference in vision for the club, and Moroccan wing-back Achraf Hakimi soon depart as the club look to aid their balance sheet with a major sale.

However, the Curva Nord do not see the next season through a pessimistic lens, and invite all fans who can attend to show their support to the squad and to new manager Simone Inzaghi during a social outside the club’s training compound.

Their statement:

“SEASON 21-22. GO! All Nerazzurri supporters are invited on Saturday, 10 July at 10:00 at Pinetina (Appiano Gentile). We have a new season to build together.”

“We are the holders of the title, the team to beat. We have a new coach to welcome and embrace. We must be united from the beginning. Inter must continue to be one among the fans, the team, and the management.”

“Some painful choices were shared by us because we were guaranteed competitiveness. We place our full trust in Marotta and Ausilio.

“But INTER cannot be hidden. WE CANNOT HIDE OURSELVES. THE PATH TOWARDS THE SECOND STAR BEGINS.”
