Inter are among the clubs interested in signing Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini, but they would face competition for his signature from within Serie A and the Premier League.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the 26-year-old could depart from the Gewiss Arena with the Bergamo club having signed Argentine keeper Juan Musso from Atalanta.

It is not yet known what Atalanta’s precise intentions are in relation to the goalkeeping position, though it is thought that the club will listen to offers for Gollini, who has been first-choice for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side for several seasons, with Musso set to take the starting spot given the substantial financial outlay involved in bringing him to the club.

With Gollini possibly set to leave La Dei, several clubs have shown an interest in his services, with Inter, AC Milan, Roma, and Lazio among the clubs in Italy who have joined the chase for the Italian.

Outside of Serie A, it is thought that Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are among the teams with an interest in bringing the player to the English Premier League.

It remains to be seen how serious the Nerazzurri are in Gollini, and whether they would be able to bring him in should an auction ensue between the various clubs after his signature.
