Zinho Vanheusden is an Inter player again, with the Nerazzurri having officially re-signed the Belgian from Standard Liege after selling him to Standard in 2019.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 21-year-old arrives on a permanent basis for a fee of €16 million.

Vanheusden was brought in from Standard as a youth team player, but eventually loaned back out to the Belgian club in 2018 before being sold outright in 2019.

However, the terms of the 2019 sale included a right to buy the player back on the Nerazzurri’s part, and the club have now exercised this option, it can be confirmed.

Whether the player’s immediate future is in Milan or at another club on loan or permanently, he is an Inter player now and will join the rest of Simone Inzaghi’s squad for pre-season training with the club’s training camp kicking off on Thursday.
