Monaco Could Let Inter Linked Keita Balde Leave For A Nominal Transfer Fee, Italian Media Report

Inter could look to bring in Keita Balde from Monaco this summer, with the Senegalese forward expected to be available for a small transfer fee.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the French side could look to sell the player this summer rather than lose him for free when his contract runs out next summer.

Balde joined Monaco from Lazio in the summer of 2017, off the back of an impressive season at Lazio under current Inter manager Simone Inzaghi.

The 26-year-old has spent two seasons on loan back in Serie A since joining the French club, playing for the Nerazzurri in the 2018-19 season and playing for Sampdoria last season.

It is thought that Inzaghi would like to bring the Senegalese back to the Giuseppe Meazza, wishing to reunite with the player who he enjoyed success with during the 2016-17 season together at Lazio.

The Nerazzurri will be monitoring the player, and should Monaco make him available for a low enough transfer fee he could be brought in to complete Inzaghi’s forward options for next season.
