Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter this summer, with the player set to move to Swiss club Basel on loan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the deal will include the option for the Swiss side to buy 19-year-old permanently when the loan is over.

However, should this clause be exercised, the Nerazzurri will have a buyback clause which gives them the right to bring the player back at a later time.

Esposito is not thought to be in Inter’s plans for next season, having impressed in Serie B with SPAL and then Venezia, helping the latter to win promotion to Serie A last season, and the club are thought to see a loan move as the best way to gain experience for the young striker.

The deal with Basel is all but done, and the player will be confirmed by the Swiss club for next season.
