Inter will need to clarify the futures of Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez before they make any major signings in attack, with Keita Balde and Giacomo Raspadori targets.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the club will only make transfer moves when their plan and understanding of what lies ahead is settled.

Recent reports have linked the Nerazzurri to Keita Balde this summer, with the possibility that the Senegalese could be brought in from Monaco to join the attacking rotation while the arrival of Raspadori, though to be a major target, would be delayed until next summer.

However, this plan can only be executed once the Nerazzurri have some certainty regarding the futures of current attacking options Martinez and Sanchez.

While Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku’s place in the attack is not in any question at the moment, the South American pair have both been linked with possible departures, and it will only be when the club have settled their immediate futures that they will consider making signings in forward areas, with young striker Andrea Pinamonti another player whose future is far from certain, with the club looking to sell him but presently unable to find a buyer.
