Inter will do everything they can to keep striker Lautaro Martinez at the club unless extraordinary offers arrive, or the player wishes to leave.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the player is considered unsellable by the Nerazzurri at the moment despite interest from some top European clubs.

Martinez had been among the players rumoured to be up for sale by the club earlier in the summer as the club were known to need to make a major sale for financial reasons.

However, it soon be clear that Achraf Hakimi’s departure was more likely than that of the 23-year-old, and with Hakimi’s sale to PSG now official, it is not thought that a sale of a player such as Martinez must be made.

The Argentine played a major role under Antonio Conte, and the club are now firmly committed to keeping him on so that he can continue his form under new manager Simone Inzaghi.
