Basel are set to sign Inter duo Sebastiano Esposito and Darian Males, with the pair of youngsters close to moves to the Swiss giant.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that Esposito will depart on loan initially, while Males will be sold outright.

Esposito spent last season on loan in Serie B with SPAL and then Venezia, helping the latter win promotion to Serie A, and there had been some speculation about where his future would lay with another loan move expected.

Basil appear to have won the chase for the 19-year-old, and will sign him on loan for next season.

Males, meanwhile, spent part of last season on loan with Basel, and the club are set to confirm his status on a permanent basis having been happy with his performances on loan, with the fee involved in the deal reported to be €3 million.
