Inter have found the replacement for Pirelli as the club’s shirt sponsor for next season, and will partner with blockchain company Socios.com.

This according to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports that the partnership has been confirmed, and that the sports-related company will replace Pirelli after the 26-year partnership with the tire manufacturer has officially ended.

Pirelli made their first appearance as the main sponsor of a Nerazzurri shirt during the 1995-96 season, and had over time become one of the most iconic shirt sponsors in world football, but it had been known for some time that their deal with Inter would cease this summer.

The search for a replacement has been ongoing for a number of weeks, with the Nerazzurri ownership hoping to find a partner who will bring in the highest revenue as they look to monetize the club’s marketability following last seasons’s Scudetto triumph to its fullest extent.

However, the search is over, with Socios.com the company that will replace Pirelli on Nerazzurri shirts for next season.

The company uses blockchain technology to bring fans in all sports together and allow them to participate in the life of their clubs and make their clubs, and has already partnered to various extents with major European clubs, including Valencia, and their partnership with Inter represents a major step in the company’s brand.
