Inter are targeting PSV’s Denzel Dumfries as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi, but signing the 25-year-old could be financially prohibitive.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Dutchman will not be let go of by his current club for a bargain fee, with his price tag reported to have been raised by his excellent performances at the Euros.

Dumfries is thought to be at the top of Inter’s list to replace Hakimi, with the club having been linked to him in the past weeks.

PSV are reportedly willing to sell the player, and will not stop him from leaving should the right offer arrive.

However, the player is still considered important by the Eindhoven-based club, and they are aware of his high market value, so the Nerazzurri will likely have to submit a sizable offer if they hope to bring him in this summer.
