Belgian defender Zinho Vanheusden will depart from Inter on loan for next season, with several Serie A clubs interested in the 21-year-old.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Spezia, Genoa, and Bologna are thought to be among the clubs chasing the Belgian.

Vanheusden has returned to Inter from Standard Liege after being sold to the Belgian club in 2019.

However, despite now being owned by the Nerazzurri on a permanent basis, he is not in the immediate first-team plans, with the player excused from the start of pre-season training as the club prepare to ship him out on loan.

The aim of the Nerazzurri is to gain the player Serie A experience, and it is believed that a number of clubs have expressed interest in loaning the player for next season.

Spezia have been thought to be among the clubs with the firmest interest, but they are joined by the likes of Genoa and Bologna, with the player reported to be more convinced by the possibility of moves to the latter two.
