Inter ultras group the Curva Nord have posted a message on their Facebook page supporting new head coach Simone Inzaghi and stating their ambitions for the upcoming season.

In the message, reported by FCInter1908, urges supporters to attend a gathering to welcome the team and express their support headed into next season.

The presence of fans in stadiums will make for an enormous difference in the atmosphere of matches and the mindset of players after a season spent playing in front of empty seats, and the Curva Nord are hoping to kick things off on the right note, reminding the players from the beginning of what the support feels like.

In the message, they explain that they want the new manager Inzaghi to feel the backing of the fans as he attempts to defend the Scudetto won last season by his predecessor Antonio Conte.

The Curva Nord are proud of last season’s accomplishments, but hungry to defend and consolidate them, and they are backing the new manager and the players fully.

Their statement:

“Tomorrow, 10.00, ALL IN To APPIANO GENTILE! Winning was wonderful. Revenge, after all the vicissitudes, will be even more so. Tomorrow we must try to convey all our enthusiasm to the team and to the coach. The environment at Inter, we know well, can devour any coach. Inzaghi, however, will have on his side a group which does not intend to give up the sceptre of champions. The Nord will fight with all its strength to confirm the team at the top, all Inter fans as well. We know it will not be easy, but nothing can scare us. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! Let the new era begin!”
