Young French defender Andrew Gravillon will leave Inter and join Ligue 1 side Reims on loan with an option to buy this weekend.

This according to French news outlet Footmercato.net, who report that the 23-year-old will join the French club on loan initially, with the option to make the move permanent for €4 million.

Gravillon will travel to the city to complete his medical examinations and sign his contract with his new club this weekend, at which point he will be confirmed as a Reims player next season.

The Frenchman spent last season on loan with Lorient, where he impressed with his form and caught the eye of several other clubs in Ligue 1.

It is now clear that Reims are the side to have won the race for his signature, with the player’s departure from the Giuseppe Meazza having been anticipated and the fee for a fringe player not in the first-team plans welcome.
