Inter youngster Marco Pompetti looks set to join Pescara on loan next season.

This according to Italian news outlet Pescarasport24, who report that the player was at the headquarters of the Abruzzo club yesterday with regards to a move back to his boyhood club.

The 21-year-old was brought in by the Nerazzurri from Pescara in 2017, though he has not enjoyed any appearances with the Inter Senior team, spending last season on loan in Serie A with Cavese.

With Pescara relegated from Serie B last season, they could look for reinforcements familiar with the third division as they look to get back to Serie B, and they appear to have identified their former player Pompetti as the right man.

The deal for Pompetti will take the form of a loan move, which will also include the Nerazzurri receiving a value enhancement payment from the Abruzzo club, though the amount for the payment is not reported.
