Keita Blade’s hopes of joining Inter in this summer could be dashed, with the Senegalese striker not thought to be a priority for the Nerazzurri.

This according to Italian news outlet, who report that the Monaco player could only arrive at the Giuseppe Meazza under certain conditions.

Balde joined his current club in the summer of 2017 after enjoying excellent form at Lazio with current Inter manager Simone Inzaghi, and it is thought that the player has spoken with the Italian and would like a reunion in Milan.

However, bringing the 26-year-old in could be financially difficult even at a bargain fee, with the Nerazzurri having other priorities in the market and looking to restrict spending as they meet financial targets.

Firstly, the €7 million per season still owed on the two remaining years of Alexis Sanchez’s contract could impede Balde’s arrival on a financial level, although things could change should the Chilean agree to spread the amount over a further year as part of a contract extension.

Secondly, the departure of Andrea Pinamonti is likely a necessary condition for the Monaco attacker’s arrival, with the Nerazzurri still in search of a buyer for the 22-year-old.
