Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is being re-integrated in the squad as he looks to come back to full fitness in pre-season training.

This according to Rome-based media outlet Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 25-year-old has been working both individually and with his teammates at the beginning of the pre-season training camp.

Sensi joined the Nerazzurri in 2019, and despite a strong start he has only ever been able to show flashes of his talent as persistent injury problems have ruled him out of many matches.

The midfielder also missed the Euros with Italy due to a thigh injury, but he is determined to get past this setback headed into the next club season.

The player spent part of the training session working with the rest of the squad and with new coach Simone Inzaghi, before he then went off on his own to work on individual exercises to strengthen his muscles in the hopes of avoiding further injuries next season so he can contribute at his best throughout the season.
