New Inter coach Simone Inzaghi appears to be focusing on players he has worked with in the past to help build his new Inter team for the upcoming season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the two players that Simone Inzaghi is currently looking have both played for Lazio or still play for Lazio, his former club.

They are Keita Balde and Manuel Lazzari. The latter is the Nerazzurri’s dream replacement for Achraf Hakimi after he left the club for Paris Saint Germain last week. He is likely to cost too much for Inter though.

As for Keita Balde, that is a financially more possible deal but the move is only likely to happen if a substantial bid was to come in for Lautaro Martinez and Inter decided to sell the Argentine.

Inter would likely be able to secure the Senegalese forward on a loan deal with an option to buy.
