Aleksandar Kolarov Could Find Himself With A New Important Role At Inter, Italian Media Report

Inter left-back Aleksandar Kolarov could become a very important player for Inter next season despite it seeming like he was destined for the exit door, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by L’Interista, the 35-year-old can occupy two different roles in Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 system. The ex-AS Roma man can play on the left-hand side of the three centre backs, and he can also play as the left-winger with the midfield five.

This means he could be a vital utility player in what will be a long season with many games for the Nerazzurri to navigate.

Inter are light on reinforcements on the left-hand side of defence because Ashley Young has moved back to Aston Villa in the Premier League, Dalbert looks destined for the exit door, Federico Dimarco is also heavily linked with a move away, and Ivan Perisic could be off soon as well.
