Atalanta winger Hans Hateboer has become a very popular transfer target with the hierarchy at Inter over the last few days, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, the Dutchman would be an excellent replacement for Achraf Hakimi who moved to Paris Saint Germain last week.
Simone Inzaghi has made it very clear to Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio that the wingers are a key element of the 3-5-2 system that he wants to play with Inter next season so he needs quality players on each flank.
Hans Hateboer has been one of the best wingers in Serie A for a number of seasons but Atalanta are not a club that needs to sell him. It would take a big bid for them to enter negotiations and it could still prove a step too far for Inter given their financial state.
