Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin is not the player that Simone Inzaghi would ideally have as his replacement for Achraf Hakimi, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi would much rather have one of Hans Hateboer or Denzel Dumfries running down Inter’s right flank next season rather than Hector Bellerin.

Simone Inzaghi has told the Inter hierarchy that he is happy to wait for the club to sign players of high quality for the right and left sides of the midfield five that he intends to use. The ex-Lazio boss would rather have the right players than quickly get people who can’t perform to the standard he wants.

The two Dutch right-backs are the players he has set his eyes on but they would be much harder to acquire financially than Hector Bellerin would.

Davide Zappacosta is another cheap but less appealing option.
