Inter could potentially soon enter talks with AS Roma regarding a swap deal that would see Alessandro Florenzi head north and Federico Dimarco head down to the capital, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Il Messaggero, Inter may see this as a financially prudent way of replacing Achraf Hakimi with a player who already has experience in Serie A and should not need much time at all to adjust to his surroundings.

The Moroccan winger left Inter for Paris Saint Germain last week for an upfront fee of €65 million so now the Nerazzurri need a replacement right-winger.

Alessandro Florenzi was named in Italy’s Euro 2020 squad by Roberto Mancini and started in the opening match against Turkey which Gli Azzurri won 3-0 in Rome.

He has played for Paris Saint Germain in the past too. Selling Federico Dimarco would mean that Inter has to sign a new left-sided defender.
