Inter appear to be unlikely to sign Roma right-back Alessandro Florenzi this summer despite reports linking him to the Nerazzurri during the window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the strongest links away for the player at the moment are for clubs outside of Serie A.

Florenzi has been linked to the Nerazzurri as a potential replacement for Achraf Hakimi, with the club having accelerated the search for a right-sided option since the Moroccan’s departure to Paris Saint-Germain was confirmed last week.

Florenzi is in the shop window at current club Roma, with the Giallorossi having sent him out on loan during the past season and a half, first to Valencia and then to PSG.

It is thought that the Nerazzurri have considered making a move for the player given that his current club are willing to sell, but as it stands he is not a major target for them.

At the moment it is thought that another move away from Italy is the likeliest destination for Florenzi this summer.
