PSV’s Denzel Dumfries and Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta are among the list of names being targeted by Inter to replace Achraf Hakimi.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the two players are each considered possibilities to replace the Moroccan for different reasons.

Dumfries is a player whose profile the club very much admire as a replacement for Hakimi’s contributions on the right side, and the Nerazzurri would like to make a move for him.

However, the price involved is a major sticking price involved, with the player set to cost at least €20 million, an amount which would be very very difficult for the club to put towards a move for him.

Zappacosta, meanwhile, remains on the Nerazzurri’s radar, and he is likely a player who Chelsea would willing to let go of given that he is not a significant player at Stamford Bridge, although it remains to be seen if Inter will consider him unless higher-priority options cannot be brought in.
