Inter target Hector Bellerin has intervened in his transfer situation, personally contacting Arsenal directors to ask for his transfer away from the London club so that he can join Inter.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who claim that the most important factor in facilitating a potential transfer for the 26-year-old could still be whether or not terms can be agreed between Inter and Arsenal on a deal.

Bellerin has emerged as a top target for the Nerazzurri as they look to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right after the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

It is thought that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio want the player on loan with an option to buy and have little room to manoeuvre financially, and it remains to be seen if they can come to an agreement that is suitable for the Gunners.

However, the player himself is keen on a move, and should he be adamant enough in dealing with Arsenal it is possible that this could influence the club’s decision on him.
