Inter are considering an offer for young Flamengo striker Rodrigo Muniz, with his current club requesting €8 million for the 20-year-old.

This according to today’s print edition of Brazilian newspaper O Dia, who report that the Nerazzurri are facing competition for the Brazilian’s signature from the likes of Emirati club Al Nasr.

Inter have been tracking the player for some time, with contacts thought to have been made with Muniz’s entourage last week regarding the possibility of a contract offer, and intensified discussions of prospective personal terms.

The Nerazzurri face competition for the 20-year-old, however, from the likes of Al Nasr, who are thought to have already agreed personal terms with the player and made an offer to Flamengo.

Flamengo’s asking price currently stands at €8 million, and the Emirati side are reported to have offered €5 million plus add-ons, an amount large enough to put Spanish side Atletio Madrid out of the race.

It remains to be seen how Inter will react, though it is thought that should they make an offer for the player he would be keen to join.
