Chelsea could look to tempt away Inter striker Romelu Lukaku, with the Premier League side looking set to miss out on their first-choice target Erling Haaland.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the English club would have to pay a fee in the range of €120-140 million for the Nerazzurri to even consider parting with the player.

Lukaku is a key player for the Nerazzurri, having shown impressive form since joining from Manchester United in the summer of 2019 and finished last season top of Serie A for joint goals and assists as the Nerazzurri won the Scudetto.

It is not thought that the Belgian is considered for sale at the Giuseppe Meazza, with his contributions regarded as essential to Simone Inzaghi’s project for next season.

However, the Blues could test the Nerazzurri’s resolve, as they look to strengthen in attacking areas from last season’s Champions League-winning side and encounter financial obstacles going after Haaland and could turn their attention to the Inter striker.
