Inter and Cagliari have reached an agreement for a loan move for Brazilian left-back Dalbert.

This according to Sky Sport Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on his show this evening that terms have been agreed for a loan with an option to buy on a permanent basis.

Dalbert is not thought to be a player with a future at the Giuseppe Meazza, and the Nerazzurri have been hoping to find a new club for the 27-year-old in order to get his wages off the books and bring in a transfer fee.

Trabzonspor had been reported to be close to signing the player, but he declined their offer and so Inter have looked elsewhere to offload him.

Cagliari now appear to be the closest, with the Sardinian club making their interest known and quickly progressing on discussions for the player.

With the clubs in agreement, it is now left in the hands of the player, with the Brazilian still considering his future, but should he agree to a move then he should join the Rossoblu for next season.
