Inter youngster Gaetano Oristanio looks to be on his way out at the Giuseepe Meazza this season, with the 18-year-old close to joining Dutch second division side Volendam on loan.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the young striker is ready to make the move and prefers a foreign loan destination to a move to Serie B.

Oristanio could follow in the footsteps of fellow Inter academy product Samuele Mulattieri, who also joined Volendam on loan last season, where he found success and has attracted no shortage of interest for his fine form.

It is thought that Oristiano is a player who the Nerazzurri would be happy to see depart on loan, with no opportunity in the first team and in need of the right club at which to develop his abilities.

The deal is close, and it is reported that it could be finalized as early as Thursday.
