Defender Milan Skriniar has joined the rest of the Inter squad in pre-season training today, and will look to begin preparations for next season with the team and new coach Simone Inzaghi.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Slovak arrived this morning to greet his teammates and begin training.

Skriniar returns to training after his efforts at the Euros with Slovakia and a vacation in which he got some well-deserved rest, and will start work with new coach Inzaghi for the first time.

Not every member of the Nerazzurri squad joined up with the team at the commencement of the pre-season training camp due to some players having international commitments, and Skriniar is the first of last season’s first-choice back three to arrive in training.

Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij will join up with the rest of the squad during the pre-season tour in Florida, while Alessandro Bastoni still has some time to go on his vacation after being part of the Italy squad which won the Euros.
